Position Description

The Department of Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine invites applications for a full-time Instructor position

The positions call for persons who, through excellence in teaching, research, and Periodontics, are able to build and maintain the department reputation nationally and internationally through leadership and direction of department activities, including: pre- and postdoctoral education programs, research, and service to the community. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed an advanced education program in both Periodontics and who have previous teaching experiences. The successful candidate must possess a DDS or a DMD degree and/or be eligible for a Pennsylvania dental license. Clinical practice within the University is available and encouraged. Women and minority candidates are encouraged to apply.
